Local Student Exchange Org seeking Badminton Host Families

Share your love of Badminton with an exchange student who plays Badminton!

We are reaching out to Badminton players in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area & suburbs to share about an opportunity to host exchange students who play Badminton.

Pacific Intercultural Exchange (PIE), a nonprofit agency, is currently searching for volunteer host families for exchange students arriving in late August. International students stay for either a 5 or 10 month stay, and live with families in MN communities. They speak English, have medical insurance, and their own spending money. Countries include Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, China, Norway, Denmark....

Students attend the local public high school and participate in family activities. Our students have many interests such as sports, drama, and music - make a match with a student for a cultural experience of a lifetime! Families come from many backgrounds including families with teens, young children, empty nesters, and retired couples - all are encouraged to apply.

Featuring:
Nikolai Runge (boy, Denmark) - plays badminton, bowling, swimming, going to the movies, and playing video games
Siramol (girl, Thailand) - plays badminton, basketball, & swimming - also enjoys playing violin (scholarship student)
Gino (boy, China) - plays badminton, soccer, & ping pong; also enjoys track & field & swimming
