Event by Minnesota Badminton

Participation fees: $200 ($25/person). Please note that payment needs to be made as a team (i.e., $200) to admin@minnesotabadminton.com via PayPal. Please select the "Send money to family and friends" option. Any additional fees charged to the organizer may be collected during check-in on tournament day.
We are excited to announce the upcoming Minnesota team tournament. Players are required to form their own team. Each team needs to meet the following requirements in terms of the team composition:
Each team should consist of 8 players in total. No more or less. If you are unable to form a team with 8 players, please reach out to the organizer and we will help you recruit a team member. There will be 2 singles and 3 doubles. More information on the tournament format to follow once registration closes.
We will cap the number of teams to 12 teams.
There should be no more than 2 players of A level. If a player has ended up in the A bracket of any previous tournaments (regardless of singles or doubles), the player is considered an A player.
There should be at least 1 female player. An A female player will be considered C level in this tournament (with exception to a few strong female players, who may/are considered as B player). All other levels will be considered as D.
There should be at least 2 C players.
There should be at least 1 D player. If you are not able to find at least 1 female player, TWO D players are needed in the team.
The organizer will reach out to the team captain for more clarification as needed.
Please note that mask is required at all times if you are NOT fully vaccinated per CDC guidelines. We will operate under a trust and honor system and will not ask for vaccination proof.
This is a one day tournament. Players are expected to remain in the gym until all matches have completed. Note that the tournament may not end till 5/6:00 p.m.
