MN Youth Badminton Club is happy to announce that we will be trying out some practice sessions for kids and youth under 21 years old. We will be organizing 4 trial practice sessions on:
Tuesdays (8/7 and 8/14) at Robbinsdale Community Center (3730 Toledo Ave N, Robbinsdale, MN 55422) from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m.
Thursdays (8/9 and 8/16) at Burnsville High School gym (600 State Hwy 13, Burnsville, MN 55337) from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m. *
The walk-in fee for these practice sessions is $5/person. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE PRACTICE SESSIONS ARE STRICTLY FOR KIDS AND YOUTH UNDER 21 y/o. We will consider opening a court or two to adults/parents if we have insufficient turnout (from the kids/youth) to cover for the court rental fees.
We will consider adding more sessions if the turnout at these trial sessions is encouraging.
At these practice sessions, we are planning to have the first 40 minutes for the kids and youth to practice/drill and it will be led by our student leaders (under the supervision of Zoe and/or other volunteer coaches). For the remaining time (80 mins), the courts will be open for casual/competitive play among the kids and youth.
Please note that the Minnesota Youth Badminton Club and any of its volunteers shall NOT be held liable for any injuries caused during these practice sessions.
